Rising Above Breast Cancer

One hour special hosted by Nancy Wilson, premiered April 1, 2001 and currently airing on Public Television Stations through December 2003. African American women are dying from this disease at a rate higher than any other race or ethnic group. This program focuses on breast cancer survivors and highlights community-based programs around the country that emphasize the need for early detection and treatment to fight this deadly disease.
