African American women are dying from this disease at a rate higher
than any other race or ethnic group. This program focuses on breast
cancer survivors and highlights community-based programs around
the country that emphasize the need for early detection and treatment

“A.I.D.S at 21: Specter of an Epidemic”

One hour special that aired on the Discovery Health Channel. Premiered
December 2002 on World AIDS Day. Examined the increasing incidence
of HIV/AIDS in African American men between the ages of 15-29.
Also explored the issue of Men who have sex with men which some
site as the reason for the increasing incidences of HIV/AIDS in
African American women.
